Offer in Compromise Accepted
Sequoia Tax Relief managed a federal liability of $40,000 for past due income taxes owed by a couple in Garner, North Carolina. The Associate was able to negotiate a ‘Stay on Enforced Collections’ to protect our client’s assets while compiling all of the outstanding tax returns and other requested financial documents. Once the financial condition was determined, we submitted an Offer in Compromise in the amount of $1,428. This saved our client approximately $38,572.
