Sequoia Tax Relief managed a personal liability of over $100,000 for outstanding Trust Fund Recovery Penalty and Personal Income Tax due to the IRS for a former business owner in Silver Spring, Maryland. We negotiated an Offer in Compromise in the amount of $5,800 to satisfy the outstanding liabilities. Our client will be able to pay the Offer amount over five months thereby releasing all tax liens and saving our client in excess of $90,000.

Sequoia Tax Relief managed a personal tax liability of $87,000 owed to the IRS for an estate attorney in Clinton, North Carolina who was hired to represent a deceased man who passed away, and had previously been the victim of theft and embezzlement, leaving behind a large tax balance for the estate to address. We drafted and negotiated a Request for the Abatement of Penalties for the full abatement of all penalties and associated interest, saving our ‘client’s’ estate a total of $25,430.
